Cobalt Chloride paper is used for testing for humidity in the atmosphere. Simply remove a strip from the small box, hold it to a heat source such as a light bulb or heater and watch the strip turn blue. Then take the strip to the area that is to be tested for humidity. If there is moisture in the air, the strip will turn pink.
